Reviews on the Fortnox marketplace
“Incoming supplier invoices are matched against completed jobs and end up as an outgoing customer invoice. Nordsynk speeds up the process … and it does it correctly and fully transparently.”
“Nordsynk makes it easy to work with financial data directly in Claude, without jumping between systems. It saves time, simplifies analysis and opens the door to smarter automation of finance work.”
What you ask about every week
This is how it can sound when you write to Claude. The questions are examples; you write in your own words, and the answer is based on what is in Fortnox right now.
Supplier invoices: what to pay and approve
Wholesalers and online shops have many suppliers and recurring invoices. Claude can list invoices that are unpaid, overdue or waiting for approval, and move the ones you choose on to bookkeeping or approval.
› Which supplier invoices are due in the next 14 days? Total them per supplier.
Read only. Nothing changes.
› Which invoices are waiting for attest, and who has them?
Read only. You see the approval flow per invoice.
› Look at the invoices that came in through the inbox and suggest an account for each line.
Claude suggests. Creating and booking happen only when you approve.
Customer invoices and payments
If you invoice business customers you need to know who has not paid. When consumers pay by Swish or card, the payments are often booked as one sum per day or payout, and you can review that with Claude too.
› Which customer invoices are overdue, and by how many days?
Read only.
› Register a payment on invoice 1042, 12,400 SEK, paid yesterday by bankgiro.
The payment is registered only after you approve it.
› Create a customer invoice to Bergströms Järn with the same rows as invoice 1038.
You see the draft. The invoice is created only after you approve it.
Swish, card and payouts against the books
Upload the bank statement for one month as CSV or Excel in the conversation. Claude compares the rows with the bookkeeping for that bank account and shows which match, which seem to belong together as a group, and which have no counterpart.
› Here is the October bank statement. Which rows have no voucher in Fortnox?
Read only. You connect the rows yourself in Fortnox.
› The card acquirer payout on the 14th: which booked sales days does it correspond to?
Claude shows its reasons row by row, and says when it is unsure.
Margin, result and how the month went
For margin by cost type Claude needs to know which accounts are revenue, goods purchased, freight and fees in your books. You name the accounts once in the question; Claude does not guess them.
› How did October go compared with September? Revenue, costs and result.
Read only.
› Work out the gross margin for October. Revenue is 3001, goods purchased is 4010 and freight is 5710.
The accounts are yours. If an account is missing, Claude says the answer is incomplete.
› Do a month check for October. What should I look at before I close the month?
Read only. You get a list of what stands out and why.
VAT
Claude totals output and input VAT from the bookkeeping for a period and points out entries that look odd, so you have something to start from before you file.
› How much VAT do I owe for the third quarter? Does anything on the VAT accounts look odd?
Read only. You file the VAT return yourself.
You approve before anything changes
Nothing in Fortnox changes until you have approved it. When you ask Claude to register a payment, create an invoice or book something, you get a preview of exactly what will change, and you approve in the browser.
What Nordsynk does not do
- Nordsynk does not read your web shop, your till or your payment provider. Everything Claude knows comes from Fortnox and from files you upload in the conversation yourself.
- Nordsynk does not read Fortnox's own bank queue, so you link a bank row to a voucher in Fortnox. Claude shows which rows belong together.
- Nordsynk does not file your VAT return and does not replace your accountant or auditor. You can send them exports and supporting documents, such as a SIE file.
- Claude can guess wrong on unusual invoices. That is why you see every change before it is made.
What it costs
Nordsynk costs 199 SEK per Fortnox company and user per month and is bought in Fortnox Marketplace. The amount is added to your regular Fortnox invoice.
One seat covers one company and one user. If you run two companies and want to work in both you need a seat in each, and if several people will ask Claude each of them needs a seat.
After you buy, the Fortnox administrator assigns the seat to the user who will use Claude. Then you connect Claude to Fortnox, which takes a few minutes.
Common questions from online shop owners
Can Claude match Swish payments against the books?
Partly: you upload the bank statement as CSV or Excel and Claude compares the rows with the bookkeeping for that bank account and shows which match, belong together as a group or have no voucher. You make the actual link in Fortnox, because Nordsynk does not read Fortnox's bank queue.
Can Claude book my web shop's sales?
Claude can review and suggest, but it cannot read your web shop directly. The sales have to be in Fortnox already, or in a file you upload. Anything Claude wants to create in Fortnox is shown to you first, and nothing is saved before you approve.
Does it work for wholesale and retail too?
Yes, as long as the books are in Fortnox. Supplier invoices, customer invoices, results and VAT are read the same way whether you sell online, in a store or to businesses.
What does it cost if I have two companies?
Nordsynk costs 199 SEK per Fortnox company and user per month. One seat covers one company, so with two companies and one user you need two seats.
What do I need to get started?
You need a Fortnox company, Nordsynk bought in Fortnox Marketplace and a seat assigned to the user who will ask Claude. Then you connect Claude to Fortnox, which takes a few minutes.
