How to connect Grok Bot to Fortnox

The Nordsynk template gives the bot instructions for working in Fortnox. You make the connection itself with your own Nordsynk account, because a template never carries sign-ins.

Send to the bot

Connect Nordsynk as a custom MCP server at https://mcp.nordsynk.se/mcp. Show the authorization so I can sign in with my own account. Then check the connection by reading company information. Make no changes in Fortnox.

Add to Grok Bot
  1. 01

Activate Nordsynk for your Fortnox company

An administrator activates Nordsynk in the Fortnox integration marketplace and assigns a Nordsynk seat to your Fortnox user.

  2. 02

    Add the Nordsynk template

Open the template and choose Add to Grok Bot. It holds instructions and three suggested questions, with no sign-ins, company data or routines.

  3. 03

Ask the bot to connect Nordsynk

Send the message above. Grok Bot adds Nordsynk as a custom MCP server and shows Authorize when you need to sign in.

  4. 04

    Sign in and choose companies

Open Authorize, sign in to Nordsynk and pick the companies the bot may use. If a company still needs connecting to Fortnox, you continue through the Fortnox sign-in.

  5. 05

    Check with a read

Let the bot read company information and confirm the company name is right. With several companies, choose the one the bot should work in.

03 — Requirements and limits

What you need, and what we don't promise

You need

The Grok Bot app on a subscription that includes it, and a Nordsynk seat for your Fortnox user.

The connection stays with you

A shared bot carries its instructions but not custom MCP servers. Whoever adds the template connects their own Nordsynk account and picks their own companies.

Approval in the browser

The bot shows a link to Nordsynk's approval page. We have not verified an approval card inside Grok Bot itself, so we don't promise one.

04 — Trust

You control what the bot can reach

You sign in to Nordsynk and choose which companies the bot may use. The bot can only reach what your Fortnox user has permission to and the Fortnox areas the company's access policy allows. Sign-in happens on Nordsynk's own page, so never type a password into the chat.

A preview appears in your browser before every change. Nothing changes in Fortnox until you approve it.

05 — Pricing

Nordsynk costs 199 SEK per Fortnox company per user per month through the Fortnox integration marketplace.

The same user needs a seat of their own in each Fortnox company where they work. Your Grok Bot subscription is not included.
