01 — How it works

Five steps from Fortnox to your first question

You do steps 1 and 2 once per company, in Fortnox. Each user does steps 3 to 5 on their own. If you are the owner and will use Claude yourself, you do all five.

Open Nordsynk in Fortnox Marketplace
The button above opens Nordsynk's product page in Fortnox directly, so you do not have to browse the integrations directory.

Buy seats and activate Nordsynk
Sign in to Fortnox as a system administrator and pick the company if you have more than one. Enter the number of seats, one per user, and complete the purchase. Then click Aktivera integrationen and approve the permissions. After that you assign the seat, see the box below.

Connect the company with your Fortnox account
Each user opens the activation link, signs in to Nordsynk by email and connects the company with their own Fortnox account. A system administrator in Fortnox approves the permissions.

Add Nordsynk to your AI assistant
The setup guide has three steps: choose an assistant, add Nordsynk and test. You can pick ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot Studio or another MCP client.

Ask your first question
Ask a question about your books in the assistant. Nordsynk confirms the connection once the first Fortnox call has come through. Nothing changes in Fortnox until you approve it.

02 — The seat

Assign the seat to whoever will use Claude

After you buy Nordsynk, the seat sits on a Fortnox user. Open Administrera integrationer in Fortnox, choose Nordsynk and assign the seat to whoever will use Claude.

If that is not you, assign the seat to them. If the seat is missing you get a licence error when you connect. Assign the seat to the right user and try again.

You know who gets the seat. If it is you, you assign it to yourself.

You have Claude, ChatGPT or another AI assistant to connect Nordsynk to.

04 — Cost

You pay through Fortnox

Billing and licenses run through Fortnox Marketplace. The cost goes on your existing Fortnox invoice, 199 SEK per Fortnox company per user per month, and is never charged by Nordsynk.

Each user needs a seat in every Fortnox company they work in. One seat does not cover all companies: a user in three companies needs three seats, 3 × 199 SEK = 597 SEK per month.
