Open ChatGPT Apps and create a new app
In ChatGPT, go to Settings → Apps → Create app. Enter Nordsynk's endpoint URL as the MCP Server URL and select OAuth as the authentication method. ChatGPT discovers the remaining OAuth details from the Nordsynk server.
Sign in to Nordsynk
ChatGPT opens Nordsynk sign-in. Use your email, then approve all or a subset of your connected companies. You can now ask ChatGPT about those companies directly in chat.

Every connection is authenticated via Fortnox OAuth 2.0. Nordsynk verifies that the user has an active seat in the Fortnox portal before the session starts. Billed directly via Fortnox — no separate credit card.

Does Fortnox have a CRM?
Fortnox has a customer register and invoicing features but is not a dedicated CRM. With Nordsynk you can use ChatGPT to search and analyse customer data in Fortnox as part of a broader workflow.
Which ChatGPT plan do I need?
You need a ChatGPT plan that supports custom MCP apps and connectors. Currently that means ChatGPT Plus, Team, and Enterprise. Check your plan's settings — if you see the Apps section under Settings, Nordsynk will work.
Can ChatGPT write to Fortnox?
Yes. Nordsynk exposes the full Fortnox API including write operations. You can create invoices, supplier records, and bookkeeping transactions via ChatGPT. All write operations require you to confirm the action in the conversation before they are executed.
What happens to my Fortnox data in ChatGPT?
Your Fortnox data is sent to ChatGPT to answer your question, just like pasting text into a conversation. Nordsynk does not store your Fortnox data — we only handle authentication and forward the API responses. Review OpenAI's privacy policy for how ChatGPT handles conversation data.
