Nordsynk Reports
Activate Nordsynk Reports
You sign in to Fortnox, approve the permissions and wait a few minutes while the first sync reads two financial years. Then you see the report. Nordsynk Reports only reads and never changes anything in Fortnox.
What happens
- 01
You sign in to Fortnox
You choose the company to connect and approve the permissions in Fortnox.
- 02
The first sync reads the bookkeeping
Reports fetches the SIE files for the current and previous financial year, plus open invoices, and checks the totals. It takes a few minutes, depending on the size of the company.
- 03
You see the income statement, balance sheet and ratios
The bookkeeping is updated every night. You can also refresh it manually, at most once every ten minutes.
- 04
Add recipients and a report day
Choose who gets the monthly report, such as the board and your accounting firm, and the day of the month the draft is made.
Permissions and why
Fortnox shows the permissions before you approve. Here is what Reports needs and what it is used for.
- Bookkeeping: vouchers and SIE export, for the income statement, balance sheet and account balances.
- Customer invoices: unpaid invoices, for the incoming payments in the forecast.
- Supplier invoices: unpaid invoices, for the outgoing payments in the forecast.
- Company information: company name and registration number, for the report heading.
- Cost centres and projects: for the filter in the income statement.
- Profile: who signs in, so that admins and members can be added.
Reports has no calls that change anything in Fortnox. Fortnox does not split permissions into read and write, so the request is broader than what Reports uses.
